Holiday Cottage and Apartments in the Heart of the Lake District

View of Coniston Village from the far side of the lake
The village of Coniston is located at the head of Lake
Coniston. The village has about 30 shops including a Spar, Co-op
and Hutchinson's the local village store, so all the essentials are
readily to hand.
There are five pubs, which all serve meals,
also cafes and restaurants.
At the lake shore the Boating Centre has sailing, rowing
and electric powered boats for hire. Lake Coniston is where Donald Campbell met
his untimely end in Bluebird whilst attempting a new world water speed
record. The Ruskin museum is hoping to display the restored Bluebird sometime in
the future.
